Swans and Ducks

The swans are in a huddle
life has become a muddle.
Everywhere they look
they see another duck.
They come to hope every day
that these critters not came to stay.
Maybe I should invite a hawk
that surely would end their endless quack!
In the meantime I hate to give them the boot,
‘cause these two are really cute.
So now please don’t grouse,
