Ashes
Ashes, ashes all fall down,
and the earth is no longer brown…
Everything has turned gray,
no matter what you say.
This is a sad state of affair…s
that all we can breathe is bad air.
Even with a really good mask,
in the sun we no longer can bask.
The sky is grey and haunting,
the thought of global warming every so daunting.
If we don’t heed the warning of the earth,
our life may be come to use so dearth.
Many fires devour many a tree,
everywhere as far as the eye can see.
The winters are getting colder,
the storms and hurricanes every bolder.
If we all work together,
we could even change the weather.
We must all do our bit,
for the global benefit.
Now let us join our hands
and work to save our fragile lands.
