Rain

Now, please, do not complain
That we’re getting more rain
T’will nourish the flowers and trees
feeding the birds and the bees
Pollinating many a blossom
Nature’s feat oh, so awesome.
I bow to the earth’s wise old ways
Raising my voice in heartfelt praise.
